ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY. 25 will fee published THE FIRST CHAPTERS in A NEW SERIAL STORY, entitled THE BLOOD OF THE GHETTOS AND THE RED TRAIL OF THE BRIGANDS, Being chapters from -the History of North Queensland (known as New-Lombardy) amid tho Northern Torritory in -the year of Grace, 1957.
A DREAM OF THE FUTURE, FULL OF STRANGE AND WONDERFUL SCENES.
North North Queensland, having become Italianised .byi the importation of Italian laborers, falls (entirely into the -hands of the XtoUanos, whilst the " Northern Territory, with the importation of 50,000 Russian Jews, founds a new nation called Bashan. The introduction gives oxtracts for 50 years from ithe "Government Gazette."
Tho first Chapter deals with the Arm of Gaspardo Bibiena and Co., Mane Owners, Directors, Secre tarics, Agents, and Macarroni manufacturers.
The second Chapter deals with the death of Aaron Finkelstein, the Wealthy Jew, . who is murdered by deputy -by a Black Hand for the pnee of 6 lira.
The third Chapter deals with the burning of .tho Anglais© Compound, where the remnants of the English race, who hitherto populated North Australia, aro confined. The place is known as the Via Dol Gardo (hitherto Gard's-lano) and the descendants of our present-day citizens reside thoro. They havo Italianised tlicd r names, -and wo seo in the crowd, people who pass by the name of Sdgmor Roberto Russolll, S-iigaior Tomasso Stamiardi, Sig-aior Jacopo MilHcano.
The fourth Chapter deals with the great Brlgard Chief, Gdaoomo Goma&nga, who works under the direction of Gaspardo .Bibiena.
Every succeeding chapter throws light on tlio manner of the fu-ture race which will inhabit this territory, and moves on through swift 'incidents and 'bloodshed to the Jnvaslon and tho Mossacro of the Jews in the' GhettoB of Bashan, up to the great battlo when the Commonwealth troops march into war and a dcolslv© stand is "m ado at Camoowoalo, an important Italian outpost.
